Penile prosthesis

A pair of cylinders are implanted in the penis, a small pump is placed in the scrotum and a reservoir within the abdomen. Squeezing and releasing the pump moves fluid into the cylinders, creating an erection. It is the only treatment that gives patients a rigid erection whenever they want and for however long they want. Once the deflate button is pressed the penis returns to a soft and flaccid state.
